It’s finally here, the next Nvidia RTX 3000 series graphics card has entered the market. The RTX 3060 Ti was finally released on December 2nd and just in time for the Christmas period- assuming you can find one.
Just like the RTX 3070 launch, the new Nvidia graphics cards sold out almost instantly and re-sellers can already be found online with sky-high prices. Stock levels for the Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti are varied across different regions but it hasn’t been enough to satisfy all the gamers looking to get a big upgrade before the end of this year. This is no surprise, however, the launch of the RTX 3070 had a similar response so the next new Nvidia graphics card was bound to sell out quickly too.
Testing results confirm the RTX 3060 Ti provides faster performance than the more expensive RTX 2080 and 2080 Super cards. The Verge (https://www.theverge.com/21726429/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3060-ti-review) noted during their testing that the new Nvidia graphics card provides high frame rates for popular games at 1440p even with ray-tracing enabled.
Specific new Nvidia graphics cards will only be available from certain stores so if there’s one particular RTX 3060 Ti you want then be sure to double-check where it’s being sold. The price will vary according to country though the starting price is from $399 with third-party cards costing up to $700.
